The Proof of Divinity!

   According to available Historical evidences, the first five books of the Holy Bible were written in 1500 B.C and the last book was written in 90 A.D. So it took 1600 years to finish writing the Bible. About 40 prophets wrote the Bible who lived in different decades, centuries and millennia. The Bible was not written as a single book but as a compilation of many books, written by different authors. While we could not find and handle the original manuscript of the first five books of the Bible written by Prophet Moses, some ancient manuscripts are available for us to study, verify and confirm the facts.

   The greatest archeological excavation which led to discovery of the ancient manuscripts of the Bible was carried out at the Qumran Caves. In those excavations the complete book of Isaiah was found in a jar of clay. Radio carbon dating process was held and those manuscripts were authoritatively declared to be from 200 B.C. The book of Isaiah unearthed in Qumran Caves reads exactly like the book of Isaiah we read in the Bible today! And we have the manuscripts of other books of the Bible too!    This shows that the books of the Bible are not of any modern authorship, but are truly ancient. They were written hundreds and thousands of years ago, preserved and uncorrupted till our day.

   In the book of Isaiah, the prophet foretold, in 750 B.C. that a virgin will conceive and give birth to a male child. This prophecy written in Isaiah 7:14, was exactly fulfilled 750 yrs later. Virgin Mary conceived in a miraculous way against the normal, natural biological way, and gave birth to Jesus. In the 53rd chapter of the same book, it is written that a person is going to die by offering himself as a sacrifice for the forgiveness of the sins of the whole mankind. Even this prophecy was literally fulfilled after 750 yrs! In fact I can show hundreds of prophecies which were fulfilled to the letter. Surely the one who wrote the Bible knows the future!

   Now I want to bring something more shocking, to your notice. As Christian believers we love peace and hate war. We don't encourage or support war because innumerable innocent people are killed during the time of war. Yet to prove the authenticity of Bible prophecy I have to show you the most startling prophecy of the Bible fulfilled in our day.

   In the book of Habakkuk chapter 1, verses 5 to 11 it is clearly foretold that the Chaldeans will take possession of the land that actually doesn't belong to them. Chaldeans are the races which are known as Babylonians which are presently called Iraqis.

   We know that Iraq under Saddam Hussein has encroached and taken Kuwait by force. The prophecy was given somewhere around 626 years before Christ and is fulfilled in our lifetime. In the book of Jeremiah which was written around 629 B.C., in the 51st chapter, 2nd & 3rd verses it is written that the multinational armies will invade Iraq. We know that even this prophecy has been fulfilled in our own day.

   Just think of it. Iraq is going to grab the land that belongs to somebody else. The prophecy was given around 600 B.C. and was exactly fulfilled on August 2nd, 1990 A.D. The multinational armies shall invade Iraq. This prophecy was given around 600 B.C. and was fulfilled exactly in March 2003.

   Who was behind these prophets? Who inspired them to write these prophecies? Was he a created being? Or was he the creator? What does your esteemed commonsense say? He claims to be the real God - does anybody have a conclusive proof that He is not?
